Here’s a sample Itinerary of what a weekend at the Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans could look like:

4-day Super Bowl LIX Experience New Orleans

Thursday 6 February 2025

Most AUS flights are direct to Los Angeles and then a 3h 30m connecting flight to New Orleans is required.  There are also flights from SYD and MEL to Dallas Ft Worth (DFW), which make the connection a bit shorter.

By the time you get in, with the time change to Central Time, you are likely to get into New Orleans in the mid-afternoon / early evening.  This will allow you time to drop your bags at your hotel and burn off your jetlag by spending night one checking out the sights and sounds of the French Quarter.  If you do get into New Orleans early, today’s the recommended day to hit the Super Bowl Experience as it will be a lot quieter today / tomorrow than it will be on a weekend day where many of the locals will be visiting.

Check out some of the local bars and restaurants and mix with the locals  on Bourbon Street or take in some jazz in the French Quarter.

Friday 7 February 2025

The Host City is truly pumping today. Check out the Super Bowl Experience, wander along the Mississippi River, wander through the Mardi Gras parade routes, enjoy a beignet in a french bistro, or have a try at your luck at the Harrah’s casino centrally located in downtown New Orleans.

Mix with the locals, or alternatively party at one of the numerous VIP parties. Most Friday nights of Super Bowl weekends is the infamous SHAQ party.

Saturday 8 February 2025

Lots to do! Take in all the buzz and vibe of Super Bowl city the day before the big game!  Consider hitting anything you haven’t done yet, or go back to the Super Bowl Experience and try your Pro Bowl Skills against the greats of the game.  Weather should be in the low to mid-20s C.

Tonight there will be no shortage of parties! From Rolling Stone to Sports Illustrated to Gronk, we know New Orleans will be rolling out the red carpet.

Sunday 9 February 2025

Game Day! It’s morning at leisure, then depart for your very own “Tailgate Party”. The Tailgate is a great way to get ready for the big game and will run from approximately 1:30pm – 4.30pm local time.  This will give you enough time to get settled into your seats and take in all the pre-game on-field entertainment before Kick-Off at approximately 5:30pm local time..

SUPER BOWL LIX kicks off @ 5.30pm approximately local time

The game will end around 9:30pm, so plan to celebrate your once-in-a-lifetime experience with the locals in New Orleans’ rich nightlife…….
